For me, the best stories are the ones that are recounted with vivid detail, with interesting characters and colourful commentary. If it’s non-fiction, I like a strict adherence to realism; if it’s fiction I enjoy the total break of realism into creative fantasy or surrealism. I’m a very fickle person.
